Christian Community Church is committed to caring for those in need within our church family and our community. Our Benevolence Ministry exists not only to meet immediate needs, but to walk alongside individuals and families toward stability, dignity, and Christ-centered restoration. We believe care happens best through relationship, not just financial assistance.

Follow-Up Care
We may check in after assistance is given to see how you’re doing and to offer continued support where appropriate.

CCC sets aside funds each year for benevolence and also receives special offerings throughout the year. These resources allow us to provide practical assistance such as grocery and gas gift cards, firewood, and help with essential needs like utilities, rent, or transportation-related expenses.

If you are in need of assistance, we invite you to complete the Benevolence Application below and submit the completed form to the church office or email (ccchomerak@gmail.com). After submission, a member of our team will connect with you to better understand your situation. Our goal is not simply to provide financial help, but to listen, care, and help you move toward long-term stability. In many cases, this will include a conversation about next steps, available resources, or ongoing support.

Because we desire to steward these resources wisely and care for people well, each request is thoughtfully reviewed by our Benevolence Team, and we are not always able to meet every request.

“All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I had been eager to do all along.”
— Galatians 2:10

A Note About Our Approach

Our desire is not only to meet immediate needs, but to build relationships and walk with people toward long-term stability and hope. Because of this, assistance may look different depending on each situation, and we are not always able to meet every request.
